TOK… guess whose stores I FINALLY got to see? @occasionette !! I mean, I did not just see one of Sara Villari’s shops… I saw all 3 of them! Jealous? I know you are! 😊
Opening her first shop in 2013, Sara has grown exponentially over the years. She now has 2 sweet shops located in Collingswood, NJ and one in South Philadelphia and all 3 have the Villari flair. You should try to visit one of them if possible. To me, they are all treasures for the hunter as there is just so much to see and so masterfully merchandised. Her latest shop located just a hop, skip and a jump from her NJ shop is her newest adventure, The Joy Shop. Which still has the Occasionette panache but focuses more on self-care goodness. Filled with candles, bath soaks, teas, chocolate, fuzzy socks, journals, paper goods, and more. So yes, all things to fill you with JOY.
In both Occasionette locations you’ll find cards for every occasion, candles, tea towels, jewelry, bar wares, candies, notebooks, journals, photo frames and oh so much more. They are an asset to their community in each neighborhood, from serving as a site host for CSAs from local farms and being the perfect place to pick up that little something for the people you love.
There are so many reasons to list why these shops are so special but let me share something that I love about Sara… she’s been attending @ny_now for years and she estimates that they buy from 600 to 700 lines annually. But it’s her dedication to supporting local and smaller artisans that is at the forefront of her priorities. Her shops are filled with great local makers and her passion to support them is apparent. Sara is good people. Go and support her business… your support of her will be supporting many.
10 pics is not enough. Here’s an assortment if all 3 shops with 2 cuties Danielle and Sarah who are the best!
