Attendee Qualification
We’ve developed these guidelines to maintain the professional level of NY NOW and enhance the experience for all who exhibit and attend. We thank you for following these rules and helping us uphold our standards of excellence.

REQUIREMENTS
General Info
- NY NOW is open to the trade only. Individuals must provide direct, professional trade affiliation documentation to be admitted during the registration process. Both Company and Individual Credentials will be required. Credentials may be uploaded during the online registration process.

- Company credentials demonstrate active business participation in the Gift + Home industries.
- Individual credentials demonstrate current employment at the credentialed company.

- Registration is free for all qualified buyers. Other badge types may require a fee, as outlined in sections below.
- Online pre-registration is strongly recommended. If registering on-site at the Show, members of the trade should bring all credentials with them to show on-site at registration.
- Please allow 10 business days from the time you upload your documentation for your credentials to be reviewed; confirmation or request for more information will be emailed to the address provided during the registration process.
- Children under the age of 16 may be admitted as guests ($65 admission fee) if accompanied by a registered attendee. Strollers are not permitted on the exhibit show floor at any time.
- Please note that only major credit cards are accepted for on-site registrations. Cash will not be accepted.
REQUIRED CREDENTIALS
General
NY NOW is open to the trade only. To attend, you must provide identification to qualify your business, and separate identification to qualify each individual employee from your store or company.
- Company Please bring TWO forms of Company identification.
- Employee Please bring ONE form of Employee identification the following are acceptable:
- Employee verification letter on company letterhead from owner or manager stating job status
- Copy of company credit card with both employee’s and company’s name
- Copy of company insurance card with employee’s name
Please note that acceptable Employee identification must be submitted for each registrant. We reserve the right to request additional business identification if deemed necessary. You will also be required to submit proof of your identity when you pick up your badge.
We also reserve the right to decline access to the show at any time to maintain the integrity of our events. If you do not possess the documents or credentials detailed in the sections below, please reach out to our team at support@nynow.com, and we’ll be happy to assist.
Buyer
Company Credentials:
- Your Business Tax Identification Doc
- Resale License
- Active website address through which company business can be validated
- Two recent invoices (both within last 12 months) from industry manufacturers for goods purchased at wholesale/in quantity for a minimum of $1,000
- Store/commercial lease indicating the type of business. For leases, provide only the first two pages of Store lease stating you are a retail business.
Individual Credentials
- Employee verification letter on company letterhead from owner or manager stating job status
- Active company website showing name and affiliation to the Company
- Copy of company credit card with both employee’s and company’s name
- Copy of company insurance card with employee’s name.
- Please note: letters of employment and business cards will not be automatically accepted
Manufacturers’ Representatives (multi-line)
Provide a list of lines currently being represented at the NY NOW. You must also provide proof of agreement for at least one of the lines you are representing at NY NOW.
Wholesalers, Importers, & Exporters
Provide samples of brochures, catalogs, etc. that show product selection and inventory.
Interior Designers
Provide the appropriate certification, professional designation or membership in an industry association.
New Businesses
A letter of intent from an attorney or bank on official letterhead stating the intent to start a new retail business (this is acceptable for new businesses only), along with your tax ID / EIN documentation. Each new business request will be assessed on an individual basis. If you have questions, please reach out to support@nynow.com.
Student
University students or instructors in programs directly applicable to the Gift + Home industries may apply to attend under a student badge. Registrants will be asked for a copy of their university issued ID and most recent semester transcript or syllabus.
Media
- NY Now offers two types of media badges for editorial staff and sales/service personnel. Media professionals must provide credentials that clearly indicate their affiliation with a recognized news organization, including:
- Letter of assignment from their editorial department
- Recent bylined articles
- Active URLs through which business can be verified
- Marketing agencies, PR firms and other publishers should either request a badge from an exhibiting client or register for an Industry pass.
SHOW RULES & REGULATIONS
Show Rules and Registration Terms & Conditions
- Trade-Only Event
NY NOW is a wholesale trade event open to qualified members of the gift, home, design, and related industries.
- Show Floor Rules
To maintain a safe, professional, and productive wholesale marketplace, all attendees must comply with the following:

- Badge Requirement: Show badges must be visible at all times while attending the Show.

- Wholesale Orders: Onsite sales and delivery of merchandise are strictly prohibited. All merchandise orders must be shipped.

- Photography: Permission from an exhibitor must be obtained before photographing or recording an exhibitor’s products, booth, or display.

- Wheeled Items: Luggage carts, wheeled cases, strollers, and similar items are not permitted on the exhibit floor during Show hours. At Show Management’s discretion, accommodations may be made for medical needs. Coat and bag check services are available at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

- Animals: Pets are not permitted. Service animals are permitted in accordance with applicable law.

- Smoking: In accordance with New York City regulations, smoking is prohibited throughout the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

- Children: Children under the age of 16 are strongly discouraged from attending NY NOW. Children issued minor badges will be charged a fee of $65.
Show Management reserves the right to remove any individual who fails to comply with these rules or other Show policies.
- Photography, Video & Media Release
By registering for or attending NY NOW, you grant Rockview Management Group (“Rockview”) and its affiliates, representatives, designees, and authorized partners permission to photograph, film, record, and otherwise capture your image, likeness, and/or voice while at the Show.
You further grant Rockview the right to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, and display such photographs, video, audio, and other recordings for marketing, promotional, editorial, archival, and other business purposes in any media, without compensation to you.
- Badge Scanning & Sharing of Contact Information
NY NOW exhibitors and sponsors may use badge-scanning technology to collect attendee information and follow up after the Show.
By voluntarily allowing an exhibitor or sponsor to scan your badge, you consent to NY NOW sharing the contact information associated with your registration with that exhibitor or sponsor. This information may include your name, company, address, email address, telephone number, and other registration information.
Once your information has been shared as a result of a badge scan, Rockview and NY NOW are no longer responsible for or in control of how that exhibitor or sponsor uses your information. Please consider an exhibitor’s or sponsor’s privacy practices before allowing your badge to be scanned.

- Privacy & Communications
By registering for NY NOW, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to the NY NOW Privacy Policy.
Rockview may use your registration information in accordance with that Privacy Policy and may share certain information with sponsors, exhibitors, service providers, and event partners as described therein. These parties may contact you regarding products, services, or opportunities that may be relevant to you.

- Health & Safety
Attendees are expected to comply with all health and safety requirements applicable to the Show, including requirements established by Rockview, the venue, governmental authorities, or applicable public health agencies.
Rockview reserves the right to implement or modify reasonable health and safety protocols as circumstances require and to deny entry to or remove any attendee who fails to comply with such requirements.
- Mobility Services
NY NOW is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. In accordance with the ADA rules, attendees requiring specific aids or services must contact the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, which offer wheelchairs free of charge. A reservation must be made in advance by calling 212-216-2196.
If an exhibitor or an attendee is interested in renting a motorized scooter, Big Apple Mobility can arrange a scooter delivery to the Javits Center. For price quotes, Big Apple Mobility can be reached by calling 212-662-4548.
- Assumption of Risk & Release
By attending NY NOW, you voluntarily assume the risks associated with your participation in and presence at the Show, including risks associated with travel, crowds, communicable illnesses, activities, demonstrations, and the sampling or use of products at the Show.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you release Rockview, NY NOW, their affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, contractors, and partners from claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from or related to your attendance or participation in the Show, including personal injury, illness, death, or property damage, except to the extent such release is prohibited by applicable law.
- Registration Fees & Refunds
All Registration ticket fee sales are final and non-refundable, except where otherwise required by law or expressly stated by NY NOW.
Promotional codes and discounts cannot be applied retroactively to previously completed purchases.
- Compliance & Right of Removal
All attendees are expected to conduct themselves professionally and comply with these Terms and Conditions, Show policies, venue requirements, and instructions from Show Management.
Rockview reserves the right to deny admission, revoke a badge, remove an attendee from the Show, or prohibit future attendance for violation of these requirements, inappropriate behavior, safety concerns, or other conduct that Show Management determines is inconsistent with the professional operation of NY NOW.
- Acceptance of Terms
By registering for, receiving a badge for, entering, or attending NY NOW, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Show Rules and Terms and Conditions and the NY NOW Privacy Policy.
