WHITE PLAINS, NY, October 29, 2014… Online registration for the winter 2015 edition of NY NOW®, The Market for Home + Lifestyle, is now open at A dynamic new feature will extend the system’s current capabilities to allow attendees not only to register, but also to invite other industry contacts through social media platforms. The forthcoming Market will run Saturday, January 31, through Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

“We’re delighted to introduce a new social media capability to our registration process this cycle,” said Scott Kramer, NY NOW co-director and vice president. “Our buyers and suppliers are actively using social media to find and share information, and this new registration provides a seamless transition between social platforms and our online systems.” According to Kramer, the new feature allows users to register via Facebook or LinkedIn and to invite other relevant social media contacts to register for the event.

NY NOW’s easy-to-use, online registration process is available around the clock, and provides convenient pre-population of data for returning registrants. In addition to basic badge registration, the system also allows Market participants to access links to hotel and travel reservations, register for seminars and events and search NY NOW’s online directory by collection, category or keyword.

Advance registration for NY NOW, which is free to qualified retailers, is available online through 11:59PM (EDT) on Tuesday, January 27. After that date, registration costs $60 for qualified buyers who are first-time registrants, and there is a $25 onsite processing fee for qualified buyers who previously have attended the Market but did not pre-register. Upon completion of online registration, participants will receive a barcode, which is redeemable for a badge at any NY NOW self-registration terminal at the Javits.

NY NOW’s comprehensive collections – HOME, LIFESTYLE and HANDMADE, as well as NEW! exhibitors – will encompass 100,000 products in 400+ product categories. Attendees from all 50 U.S. states and more than 80 countries worldwide are expected. Information and registration are available online at
